Bullfighting News in Madrid October 12, 2013
Las Ventas bullring will host a very international ‘corrida’ on October 12nd. That day, Luis Bolivar, Sergio Flores and Paco Ureña will face the bulls of José Luis Pereda and La Dehesilla, which are always low and long-neck beasts.
Luis Bolivar is a Colombian bullfighter who has had success in many Spanish bullring this season, such as Castellon, Bilbao and Santander. Sergio Flores comes from Mexico and wants to show his best version after being gored in past june, also in Madrid. Finally, Paco Ureña is a young Spanish ‘torero’ that is gaining fame after his first participation in Las Ventas in August, when he almost opened the main gate of the bullring.
The bullfight has an international profile not by chance: this ‘corrida’ commemorates the Day of the Hispanity, October 12nd, and the staff of the bullring wants to honour the long tradition that also exists in the Latin-American continent.
The bullfight will take place in Las Ventas, at 5.30 PM. This bullring is located in central Madrid, right in Ventas Metro station (Lines 2 and 5). You can buy the tickets here.
